This is the plastic tube typically included with our standard lock pick set and certain other tools. We have extra and sometimes customers like to order a few spares, to better manage and store their equipment. While it may not be worth it to purchase a single one of these from us by itself, some folk opt to add them to larger orders so that they can keep things organized in their field kits.
This plastic tube is made of High Density Poly Ethylene and has an interior size of about 15mm x 15mm. It can expand out to approximately 220mm or compress down to 125mm, more or less.
Some people like to use these tubes to hold a Traveler Hook so it doesn't snag or poke other things in a tool bag or to hold specialized and easily bent tools like Mini Knives or the Adams Rite TripWire. Our impressioning file, while it comes in a small sleeve, is also a delicate but sharp item and many people opt to house it in a more secure and robust container like these tubes.
NOTE: While a clear plastic tube is shown, the actual opacity and color of tubes in stock can vary. Sometimes they are grey or have a hue to them. Other times they are not see-through. We've dropped the price on these to make them as close to free as we can in spite of our warehouse's storage and packing fees, so specific color or style cannot be guaranteed with each order.
