This is the most ubiquitous elevator key in North America. Defined as the official key for Fire Service Phase 1, 2, and 3 service by the ASME A17.1 safety code in 2007, this key has been found to operate not just elevators but many red secure storage boxes installed in buildings which often contain keys, access credentials, and other important and sensitive assets.
The FEO-K1 is one of the commonly-sold "specialty" keys and is purportedly available from several internet retailers, however we have observed a great many suppliers who cannot properly cut this key. The video linked in this decription showcases the issue and explains the problem.
